  Mold needs moisture to grow. DFW Mold wants to identify where and why excess moisture is entering the area to ensure the source of the problem is resolved. Which means, we don't just want your mold to go away, we want it to never come back. Once the affected areas have been identified, we will conduct: air monitoring, surface sampling, and sometimes bulk sampling to compare the contamination levels to a normal baseline. Safe and cost effective ways to eliminate the moisture and mold problem you are experiencing will be communicated. 

Should professional remediation be required, we can assist in locating a licensed Mold Remediation Contractor (MRC) to further assist you.

   A licensed Mold Assessment Consultant (MAC) will perform an assessment of the property in order to determine the extent of the contamination. Mold spore testing involves either: air, surface, bulk or a mixture of sampling. Air samples are collected from specified areas to verify if mold is spreading. Surface sampling is performed on household or office items to determine if mold spores have settled. Bulk sampling requires removing a piece of suspected mold contaminated material in order to have it analyzed by a lab and determine the genus of mold on the sample. Testing/Sampling can be beneficial if you are experiencing allergy-like symptoms.
